Stuart Rose will rejoin the front row as Lismore Rugby Club play what their coach Ray Taylor has said is their Grand Final against Bangalow at Lismore Rugby Park tomorrow afternoon.

Rose, who in Summer can be found playing for Marist Brothers Cricket Club, returned to playing rugby earlier this season and has been playing in Reserve Grade. Rose, who last played First Grade in 2016, replaces prop Marcus Ellison who is injured.

"Goose Dugs" MacDougall and Dylan Tulk return to the second row as Taylor shuffles his troops as centres Jake Lennon and James Whitby are out for the clash of Far North Coast rugby Union's bottom two clubs, with just a point separating them.

"This is our Grand Final, as close as we are going to get. Which Lismore team will turn up though - the rubbish or the good one - a player said at training. He has the answer," said Taylor.

"Hopefully, we should be very competitive tomorrow. Here's hoping."

Taylor said there were strong numbers at training last night after a disappointing turnout on Tuesday.

Lismore's players know defeat will see themn fall behind Banagalow and drop back to the bottom.

Taylor is hoping to see the performance that saw Lismore beat Grafton 52-19 with the backs scoring six of the eight tries.
