A fire which has has broken out at Nightcap National Park has sparked Rous County Council to close the nearby Rocky Creek Dam park to the public this weekend.
The closure of Rocky Creek Dam - which is one of the main water supplies to the Lismore area - is as a safety precaution.
Rous County Council, which manages the water supply for the area, urges people to check its website for further information and updates: http://www.rous.nsw.gov.au
