Lismore City Council will be conducting an urgent under-bridge inspection of the Robert White Bridge on Wilson Street, South Lismore this Sunday, 21 July, weather permitting (forecast is sunny and 19 degrees).

The inspection will require a temporary closure of the bridge from approximately 8am until late afternoon.

Due to the necessary scaffolding and safety measures, vehicle access across the bridge will not be possible during this time.

Detours will be in place for both light and heavy vehicles.

Please follow the signposted detours and drive safely.

The inspection will check the integrity of the bridge structure for future restoration work.

Lismore City Council ask that you adhere to all road closure signs and follow the detours in place.
