The NSW Department of Education has reaffirmed that Richmond River High School will be built at a new location in North Lismore.

In a letter to staff, students, parents and carers, the department said they will definitely not be rebuilding at the old Lake Street site and have identified preferred sites and are working through these options.

Logically, the location will be revealed when the Resilient Lands Program announces a North Lismore location, rumoured to be the North Lismore Plateau.
