Resilience NSW relocates Lismore services

Resilience NSW will remove amenities from the Harold Fredericks Car Park from this Thursday, 6 October 2022, with Flood Recovery Services moving to the Transit Centre from Monday, 10 October.



Flood-impacted residents who still require toilet, shower and laundry services are encouraged to seek support through the temporary housing options.


To register for this support, please call Service NSW on 13 77 88 or visit nsw.gov.au/floods.


The following public toilets are open:

  • Keen Street (corner Woodlark Street)
  • Visitor Information Centre
  • Union Street opposite the Station Hotel
  • Lismore Transit Centre (currently portaloos at this site) - toilets, shower and accessible toilet to open 10 October
  • Clyde Campbell Carpark - portaloos available
  • Dawson Street toilets - open but the roof is in need of repair. Portaloos available in case wet weather.


Lismore residents may be eligible for the At-Home Caravan Program, for more information please contact Uniting Care on 0403 786 473, Monday to Friday, for an appointment.

RECOVERY SERVICES MOVING TO TRANSIT CENTRE



Flood Recovery Services will be available at the Transit Centre on the corner of Molesworth St and Magellan St from Monday, 10 October.


Services and Information available at the centre include:

  • Accommodation support and advice
  • Mental health and wellbeing
  • Support for business
  • Financial assistance
  • Insurance and legal support
