Referendum 2023 early voting starts tomorrow

The 2023 Referendum is now less than two weeks away and for those who are travelling on or around Saturday, October 14 or for those who want to avoid crowded voting days, early voting begins tomorrow (Tuesday, October 3) for NSW and states that have the Labour Day long weekend.



As is the case with all elections, early voting venues are scarce and occur at two places in the Lismore LGA:

  • 4 Zadoc Street, Lismore CBD - opposite the Lismore Police Station
  • Goonellabah Community Centre - 27 Oliver Avenue, Goonellabah


The opening times are:

4 ZADOC STREET, LISMORE


Tuesday, October 3 to Friday, October 6 - 8:30am to 5:30pm

Saturday, October 7 - 9am to 4pm

Monday, October 9 to Thursday, October 12 - 8:30am to 5:30pm

Friday, October 13 - 8:30am to 6pm

Saturday, October 14 - 8am to 6pm



GOONELLABAH COMMUNITY CENTRE


Saturday, October 7 - 9am to 4pm

Monday, October 9 to Thursday, October 12 - 8:30am to 5:30pm

Friday, October 13 - 8:30am to 6pm


For those outside of the Lismore LGA:

Casino Community & Cultural Centre - 35 Walker Street, Casino (click here for times). Open from Saturday, October 7.

The Richmond Room - 5 Regatta Avenue, Ballina (click here for times). Open from Tuesday, October 3.

Kyogle - no early voting venues
