The SCU Gold Rats and Lismore Rugby Club will both host home matches this weekend in Far North Coast Rugby Union.

Lismore comes off a one sided loss to the strong Wollongbar Alstonville Pioneers last weekend, with the young side unable to trouble last years Premiers.

The Greens have made a number of changes to their side to take on Casuarina at Lismore Rugby Park on Saturday.

Motuciki Tukuhfu comes into the side at hooker and Mitchell Cox returns from injury at Number 8. Fraser Ruane will start at 10, with Cody Johnston moving to the wing.

All four grades will be on display for Lismore against the Barbarians, with matches starting from 12pm.

The Gold Rats have also made several changes for their first home match of the season at Maurie Ryan Oval in East Lismore against Evans River.

Rats veteran Matt Anderson is out with Tyrone Collison taking his place at 9. CJ King returns to the area and will start at Number 8, with the Rats looking for a solid defensive effort in front of a home crowd.

Mullumbimby and Evans River will clash in Reserve Grade prior to the Gold Rats match.

Both First Grade matches will start at 3:15pm.

In the match of round, Byron Shire will host Ballina, it what will be a tight struggle, with both teams looking to assert dominance leading into the finals in a few weeks.
