The Marist Brothers Rams will host the NRRRL Elimination Finals on Saturday at Crozier Field.
The club will have two teams competing on the day, with the Ladies League Tag side opening proceedings at 9:30am and First Grade taking on the Bilambil Jets at 3:10pm.
The Ladies League Tag had a convincing 30-0 win over Lower Clarence last weekend and will take on Cudgen this weekend for a spot in the Grand Final.
The two sides have only met once this season, back in Round 9, with the Hornets defeating the Ramettes 18-4, but the home side have come a long way in recent weeks.
Home ground advantage and a vocal crowd will push the side to another Grand Final appearance, where the winner will take on the winner of Sunday's Tweed Heads v Ballina match.
The Marist Brothers First Grade side will go into their clash with Bilambil well rested after having the week off as a reward for finishing second on the ladder.
The Rams have been working hard this week on the training paddock, with a few tactical changes to unleash on the Jets side.
Brothers only tasted defeat three times throughout the season, twice going down to Bilambil and coach Darryl Butcher has a few tactics up his sleeve for Saturday.
The home side will go into the match at full strength after a tough finish to the season, making up for wash-outs with mid-week matches and a busy schedule.
Noah King slots in at fullback, Shallin Fuller will guide the side around the park and tryscorer Mitchell Krause will look to add to his tally.
The Brothers defence will be out to stop the Bilambil pointscorers in winger Blake Graham and centre Caleb Nicholls, who will line up against Krause.
The forwards will be led by props James Durheim and Lochlen Perren.
The team is fit and ready to take on the Jets for a spot in the NRRRL Grand Final, something that has alluded the club in recent years.
A big crowd is expected and the Marist Brothers club are looking for us much local support as possible to lift the sides into the Grand Finals next weekend.
Northern United will contest the Ladies Tackle Elimination Final on Saturday, taking on Tweed Heads after finishing third on the ladder. The United match will kick off at 12:10pm.
