The Marist Brothers Rams will look to continue their hot streak of form when they host the Byron Bay Red Devils at Crozier Field on Sunday.

In Round 9, Marist Brothers downed the ladder-leading Cudgen Hornets in impressive fashion at the Hornets home ground 44-18, issuing a warning to fellow NRRRL teams that they are the real deal in 2025.

The 8 tries to 3 demolition included try-scoring doubles to centre Kye Cooper and second rower Henry Lee. with the Brethren turning the tables on recent matches where they came from behind to lead early in the match and go on with it in the second half.

Noah King has been named at fullback, with Ethan Mumford moving from fullback to the centres to replace Kye Cooper.

The Red Devils sit in 13th position and the Rams, who currently sit in 3rd, will look to lay a solid foundation before hopefully looking to improve their for and against.

The day will also double as Old Boys Day, with a large crowd expected to cheer on the Rams at Crozier Field.

All four grades will be on show on Sunday, with the Ladies League Tag starting the day at 10:50am, U/18's at 12:00pm, Reserve Grade kicks off at 1:15pm and First Grade will take to the field at 2:45pm.

In other Round 9 matches last weekend, Byron Bay went down to Casino 36-12 and Kyogle caused an upset when they took down the previously unbeaten Bilambil Jets 31-16.

In other Round 10 matches, Northern United will travel to Mullumbimby, looking for their first win of the season.

The Dirawongs will fancy their chances against a team that sits in 9th on the NRRRL ladder.

Bilambil will host Ballina in a top 5 clash wish should be an entertaining match.
