The Marist Brothers Rams will travel to Bilambil on Sunday to take on the Jets in a crucial clash leading into the NRRRL semifinals.

Marist Brothers have only suffered one loss so far this season, and it was to the Jets in Round 7 after several wash outs.

Bilambil took the game 26-22, but Marist Brothers have gone from strength to strength in recent months and will look to this match as a potential semifinal match in importance and intensity.

The Jets currently sit in fourth position on the ladder, with the Rams five points ahead in second spot.

Only two games will be played, with Reserve Grade kicking off at 12:30pm and First Grade at 2:00pm.

Rams Coach Darryl Butcher will again name a familiar squad for the match, sticking with a group that continues to bring quality results.

The club will also pay tribute to ex-Sydney Roosters legend John Mayes, who passed away this week and was a strong supporter and volunteer for the club.

Northern United will host the Lower Clarence Magpies at Crozier Field on Sunday in what should be a close and entertaining encounter.

Only one position separates the two sides on the competition ladder and the Dirawongs will be out to add to recent victory over Byron Bay.

The main game at Crozier Field will kick off at 2:45pm.
