Military fast jet aircraft from Number 82 Wing RAAF Base at Amberley will conduct programmed training on weekdays only.
EVDAWR is used for gunnery and bombing practice by F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler aircraft based at RAAF Base Amberley in Queensland.
Access to the range (land areas) remains restricted at all times, due to the possibility of unexploded ordnance.
For safety reasons, the Southern DPA (overwater) will be closed from 10am to 5pm during all operations, except where specifically indicated.
Defence personnel display red flags to indicate live firing activities and conduct patrols for public safety.
Scheduled operations on the range can change due to weather or other operational considerations.
The EHAWR Community Advisory Panel has been advised of these activities, and Air Force appreciates the ongoing support from the local community.
