After months of bushfires and now rain, Protestors Falls in the Nightcap National Park has come alive again.

Photographer Jaydon Daly, who works at the New Camera House in Lismore, went to Protestors Falls on the weekend to take some pictures and what he found was breath-taking.

Photographer Jaydon Daly took photos at at Protestors Falls.

“It was absolutely beautiful,” Jaydon said.

“The waterfall was flowing so strong and the water was crystal clear.”

Jaydon said the remnants of the affects of the fires on the forest were still visible in the hills nearby.

“I could still see a couple of trees that looked burnt, but they were regenerating again,” he said.

Jaydon sent one of his best photographs of the waterfall into The Lismore App, and we wanted to share them with you.

Jaydon has been working as a photographer for the past five years and said it is his passion.

“I’ve spent $57,000 on camera equipment and love it,” he said.

“The waterfall shot was taken with a 35mm lens, at 58 seconds, F/20, ISO 64 and using a 6 stop ND filter.”
