Residents are reporting a car chase which involved up to 7 police vehicles has ended at the end of Ravenswood Drive in Goonellabah this afternoon.

The man has allegedly run away from the car after his vehicle crashed into a colourbond fence at the end of the road.

Police have told local residents the dog squad has been called to apprehend the man.
