Officers from Richmond Police District have commenced an investigation into the theft of an all-terrain vehicle and recent break, enter and steal and steal from motor vehicle offences from Caniaba.

About 1.30am on Monday 13 March 2023, a red older style Suzuki ATV was located by police near the water treatment sheds on Fredericks Road.

As investigations continue, police would like to hear from the owner of the vehicle and appeal to any residents in the Caniaba area who may have seen someone riding the bike or has CCTV footage.

Police urge residents in the area to be mindful to keep their vehicles locked and to keep keys in a safe place inside the home.
