With the heavy rain, roads all through the Lismore CBD are affected by flash flood water and traffic is building up. It’s best to avoid going through the middle of town if you can.

One Lismore App reader reported being unable to make it through from Woodlark Street to Uralba Street to pick his child up from school, but was able to access a route to St Carthage’s primary school via the Police Station on Molesworth Street.

There is a currently a big traffic jam near Trinity Catholic College and police have closed off Dawson Street.
