About 1.40am Saturday, 27th April 2024 Police from Richmond PD at Lismore attempted to stop a blue Holden Commodore for random breath testing of the driver. However the vehicle has failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated in South Lismore.

The pursuit continued west of Lismore to Spring Grove Road where a tyre deflation device (road spikes) were successfully deployed resulting in the offending vehicle losing two tyres.

The suspect vehicle eventually came to a stop on Springrove Road, where the occupants abandoned the vehicle, and they fled into the roadside rural properties.

A subsequent police search located two males, one aged 20 and the other aged 18, attempting to hide in a cabin. They were arrested.

The males were conveyed to Lismore Police Station and subsequently issued Notices to appear at Lismore Local Court on June 24, 2024, for the alleged offence of trespass.

At this time Police investigations are ongoing to identify the driver of the motor vehicle at the time of this alleged offence.
