Police appeal for help to locate missing woman from Wardell

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from East Wardell.


Karla Llewellyn, aged 42, was last seen in East Wardell, about 20km south of Ballina, on Sunday, 17 August 2025.



When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Richmond Police District were notified on Saturday, 4 October 2025, and inquiries commenced to locate her.


Police and family hold concerns for Karla’s welfare.



Karla is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150-160cm tall, of medium build, brown hair and brown eyes.



She is known to frequent the Wardell, Broadwater and Wyrallah areas.



Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Richmond Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. Information is treated in strict confidence.
