Bangalow Bluedogs arrive at Goonellabah Hornets' home ground tomorrow afternoon as the hottest club in Football Far North Coast's Premier Division.
Banagalow lie fourth on the ladder after five rounds but if the club won its two matches in hand, they would be two points clear at the top. The club is also still in the FFA Cup, progressing to Round 6 of the Northern Conference for the first time in the club's history and also the first club from Football Far North Coast to make it so far since 2017.
The Bluedogs beat Kempsey Saints in Round 5, who had conquered Goonellabah in Round 4.
But Bangalow have to get behind Goonellabah's defence, which has only conceded only one in its three match winning run.

Tom Pitman, who was named in Football Far North Coast's Team of 2018, is one of the reasons for the Hornets' rock-solid defence.
"Tom has certainly got the potential to be the best centre back in the competition. He has been outstanding for us in the past month," said his coach John Eakin.
"Still only young, Tom has quickly improved his discipline and is one of our infield leaders."
Eaki.n revealed that he had injury concerns over two of his players for tomorrow afternoon's clash.
"We have a couple of blokes who I will give until tomorrow to decide whether they play or sit it out,"Eakin said.
"Lloyd Howard, who was unfit for the match at Alstonville, trained well this week and will return to the starting line up.
"Brenton Perin and Shawn Dronfield will have some game time in Reserve Grade after long lays offs also.
"Our depth is improving and it might not count tomorrow but over the course of the season it will."
