Another check on petrol prices over the weekend revealed that one Lismore station has dropped its price to 105.9. Certainly a far cry from the 139.9 we were paying at the bowser only a few weeks ago.
Only one petrol station has this price and this is United on Ballina Road. The nearest to those prices are are 114.9, nine cents a litre more expensive for unleaded E10.
The question is will we see petrol prices fall to below $1 a litre for the first time in about 20 years?
The answer should be yes but lets wait and see when.
Currently Casino has one station at 91.9, Broadwater 97.9 and Newrybar at 99.9.
As soon as this milestone happens, we will let you know and where you can find it.
