People armed with baseball bats in violent Lismore incidentThe weapons seized by police.

Weapons were seized after a violent incident in Lismore yesterday, according to a Richmond Police District Facebook statement.


“Police will allege that at 9.30pm on Thursday, a year 33 year old Bowraville woman has attended a Dalziell Street address with other people armed with baseball bats,” the statement said. 


“As police arrived they saw a juvenile hitting the 33 year old with a wooden stick.


 

“Police were pushed and hindered as they placed the juvenile under arrest and disarmed her.


“Police seized the (pictured) items. 


“Further inquiries are to be made but police anticipate several charges of Affray, Resist Police and Hinder Police will be laid on some of the people involved in this incident.”
