South Lismore and Alstonville were locked at 1-1 after normal time with Murray Towner scoring for Souths and Joel Perkins for Villa. The sides could not be separated after extra time and penalties were needed to determine a winner. Both sides took eight shots each in a nail biting finale but it was the Celtics who eventually prevailed 6-5 to progress to the Grand Final.

In the other emotion charged semi final, Richmond Rovers and Byron Bay could not be separated after normal time, with Jono See scoring the lone goal from a free kick for the home side in the 1-1 scoreline. In similar circumstances to the other semi final, neither side could take an advantage in extra time and the match was decided on penalties.

Rovers took the penalty shootout 4-2, with Rovers goalkeeper Chris Jones becoming the hero in East Lismore.

The 2022 Men's Premier League Grand Final will be played at Bill Harris Field in East Lismore on Saturday 17 September at 4:00pm.

The Women's Premier League Grand Final between Alstonville and the Goonellabah Hornets will be played on Sunday at Crawford Park, Alstonville at 2:30pm.

In the semi finals Alstonville defeated Maclean 2-1 and Goonellabah defeated Lennox Head 2-0.
