After 30 years in Kyogle Street, Pegasus Screenprinting and Dark Style Window Tinting have to move.
“There will be a new showroom on Conway Street in Lismore, and a production facility in Kays Lane in Alstonville,” says owner Malcolm Ross.
The move has come about due to a crack that has appeared in the back of the building, that a neighbour noticed. An engineer found it unsafe to continue occupancy. The business was given a month to make the move, but have managed to squeeze a couple of more weeks from the owners to facilitate all a move involves.
“We are making the most of having to move. We will have better facilities with places that will increase our exposure,” says Malcolm.
“In the floods, we lost everything. It took about seven months to get up and running again, and then I got really unwell. My son carried on with the set-up while I recovered. We would like to stay here, but the risks are too high. We would like to thank all our customers who stuck with us through those hard times.
“We decided to keep an office here in Lismore to support our local customers, while expanding our reach to Alstonville. The only difference between the two facilities is that production will happen at Alstonville, only. We can facilitate placing orders and pick-ups from both locations.”
The new addresses and start dates:
Contact phone numbers and email addresses remain the same (6622 4224).
“For now, it is business as usual. It’s a bit of a scramble - it will definitely be a long weekend,” says Malcolm, “There will be a little bit of disruption, but we will do our best to keep everyone happy.”
