Goonellabah residents would have seen a new sign just before the Rous Road/Oliver Avenue roundabout over the weekend with diversion signs also in place.

The reason is the Rous Road will be closed for traffic between Hamley Road and McIntosh Road until this Saturday March 21 due to maintenance on over hanging trees. Skyline Road will remain open.

Other road works this week include;

• The ongoing widening of Bangalow Road and road re-construction Stage 2 which is 1km north of the Eltham turnoff. One lane will be open so expect delays.

• Wilson Street, South Lismore
• Water main replacement work in Park Road and Hudson Avenue, East Lismore
• Diadem Street between Laurel Avenue and Orion Street
• Town Bridge, Town Road (off Terania Creek Road) The Channon.
