Every resident of the Lismore LGA knows of the plethora of potholes that has appeared or keeps reappearing after a prolonged wet summer and now autumn which included two major floods, one catastrophic.
A lot of state and federal government money has been promised to help fix our road network and that begins today (Thursday, 19 May) when Limsore City Council begins ashoalt patching works on parts of Brewster and Magellan Streets.
Sections of the road will be closed and open only for residents.
The map below indicates the sections of road which will be closed.
This is the start of a number of roads that will be patched in the next two to three weeks, weather permitting so maybe four to five weeks. Council also plan to complete patching on Cathcart Street, Conway Street, Molesworth Street, Wilson Street and Zadoc Street.
This means at times traffic will be delayed or detoured, so obey traffic signage and avoid the area.
