Caniaba's Grace Parsons is becoming an integral part of the Gold Coast Dolphins Women's First Grade Cricket Team.
After taking 2/22 off 7 overs in their win over the Sunshine Coast on Sunday, Parsons has become the leading wicket taker for the side this season.
Grace has taken 16 wickets at 9.81 and heads an impressive bowling lineup.
Parson's recently passed the 50 wicket milestone for the club and currently sits on 58 wickets in her short career to date.
Two weeks ago against the Valleys Club, she took 5/17 off 10 overs to add to the tally.
"I am happy with how I am bowling at the moment, I am getting a few wickets which is good."
"I am working on my batting as I haven't got too many runs at the moment, I would nearly have more wickets than runs" Parsons said with a smile.
The Dolphins side currently lead the Brisbane Women's Competition (Katherine Raymont Shield) on 23 points, seven points ahead of second placed Western Suburbs.
Grace is currently in Year 11 at Trinity Catholic College and travels to the Gold Coast to train and play.
"I travel to the Gold Coast on Wednesday afternoon's for training each week and we play on Sunday's."
"At the moment it is just the two days commitment but when the representative season starts, I will train another day on the Gold Coast. The Queensland Coach is currently in the WBBL bubble in Sydney, so this will not start for a little while."
Grace started in the NSW Pathway, representing NSW in U/15's but due to the proximity and opportunities across the border made the switch and represented Queensland in the U/18's earlier this year.

"The team is doing well and it is nice to have so many local North Coast girls in the team."
"Carly Fuller also went to Trinity and Charlotte and Olivia Voss are both Woodlawn girls."
The girls are part of a star studded side.
"It is a great club and with players of the calibre of Georgia Redmayne and Delissa Kimmince at the Dolphins, you learn so much."

Fuller is also starring for the Dolphins with both bat and ball amassing 338 runs at an average of 37.56 and taking 10 wickets at 21.7 already this season.
Fuller also topped scored last week with 63 off 62 balls against Sandgate/Redcliffe.
Fuller has also completed her fair share of representative duties, playing for the Queensland (Imparja Cup) and Australian Indigenous Teams across a number of years.
