The Bureau of Meteorology has indicated that Cyclone Alfred (category 2) will make landfall early Friday morning (March 7) with wind and rain significantly impacting Northern NSW.

The Lismore Australian Breastfeeding Association volunteer team has prepared ‘what to pack’ checklists for babies who are breastfed / expressed milk fed / mixed-fed / formula fed.

Packing an evacuation kit with all the items needed to care for your baby or toddler for at least three days is an important step you can take to prepare for an emergency.

The following evacuation kit lists provide information on what to pack for a:

• breastfed baby
• baby fed expressed breastmilk
• toddler
• baby fed formula
