Pacific Highway roadwork brings traffic changes from today

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Pacific Highway from Monday 9 May to reinstate and replace damaged safety barriers between Ballina and Tweed.

From 8pm Monday to 5am Tuesday we will be working on the Pacific Highway southbound between Barneys Point Bridge and Wommin Bay Road to replace damaged crash cushion on the shoulder.

From 8pm Tuesday to 5am Wednesday we will be working to replace southbound safety barriers on the Pacific Highway at Dodds Road and at the Gold Coast Highway intersection.

From 7pm Wednesday to 5am Thursday we will be working to replace northbound safety barriers at Marshalls Creek and at Tyagarah Road, and at Kennedys Lane to repair a damaged terminal.

From 7pm Thursday to 5am Friday we will be working on the Pacific Highway southbound at Saddle Road, Johnson Lane and Kennedy Lane to replace damaged terminal and motorist safety barriers.

From 7pm Friday to 5am Saturday we will be working on the Pacific Highway northbound at the Teven Road interchange to replace a damaged terminal leaving the Ballina service centre. We will also work on the northbound lanes between Emigrant Creek and Cumbalum to replace a terminal on the northbound shoulder.

From 7am to 6pm on Monday 16 May, we will be working on the Pacific Highway southbound at Halfway Creek to replace safety crash cushion next to the heavy vehicle inspection station.

Lane closures, reduced speed limits and traffic controls will be in place at each location during work hours. All work is weather dependent.

Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
