The stay at home orders issued by NSW Health for NSW residents that have visited Queensland, the Northern Territory and Western Australia were lifted this morning.
However, if you do visit Queensland in the second week of the school holidays you are required to complete a NSW Entry Declaration (Quuensland) form saying you have not visited any exposed venue.
The list of exposed venues is very specific so if you do venture north this week make sure you keep reading the updated list.
NSW recorded 35 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the last 24-hours to 8 o'clock last night while Queensland recorded 5 cases with three in hotel quarantine.
As we now know, COVID circumstances can change at any time so it very much travel at your own risk.
The Chief Health Officer of Queensland Dr Jeanette Young said she was not overly concerned about undetected cases in the community due to the high rate of testing but she is still concerned about the Portuguese Family Centre cluster of the Alpha variant with 17 cases so far.
There are restrictions in place in Queensland like there are in NSW such as mask-wearing and home visit numbers, you can read the details here.
