Northern United at home against the Red Devils

The NRRRL will resume this weekend after a general bye round for the NRL Magic Round in Brisbane.

Northern United will host Byron Bay, in what should be a close encounter at Oakes Oval on Sunday.

Both teams are looking for their first win of the rain-interrupted NRRRL season, with matches this weekend again in doubt with continued rain throughout the week.

Round 3 saw the Dirawongs go down to a tough Cudgen side 26-14, with plenty of positives to come out of the match for the club.

They come up against a Red Devils side that went down 36-14 to Lower Clarence and have had changes to the coaching ranks in the past week, with United going into the match with plenty of confidence.

The day will start with the Women's Rugby League match at 12:00pm, Reserve Grade at 1:15pm with First Grade kicking off at 2:45pm.

Marist Brothers Rams will head north on Sunday to take on the Tweed Coast Raiders in Round 4.

Brothers have had an interrupted start to the season after two of their first three matches have been postponed due to wet weather.

The Round 1 local derby with Northern United was postponed before a 26-20 win over Ballina.

Last weekend's match was also postponed against Mullumbimby.Coach Darryl Butcher is keen to see the team back playing matches after training sessions have been a mix of on field, concrete and indoor sessions after weeks of wet grounds.

The day will start with the Ladies League Tag at 10:50am, U/18's at 12:00pm, Reserve Grade at 1:15pm and First Grade will kick off at 2:45pm

Ballina will host Cudgen in what should be a close encounter, Mullumbimby will host Kyogle, Casino will travel to Tweed Heads to take on the Seagulls, Evans Head will travel south to Lower Clarence and Murwillumbah will host Bilambil.
