Lismore did not reach minor flood level after yesterday's deluge but that does not mean we are out of the woods with a potential heavy rain forecast for the next few days.
The Bureau of Meteorology has a wide rainfall range in the forecast, something we experienced yesterday with consistent heavy rain in the morning and early afternoon before easing in the evening and night.
34.4mm fell at Lismore airport to 6am with 3.6mm falling since 3:30pm yesterday. Nashua had significant falls once again with 80mm, Houghlahands Creek 93mm and Coopers Shoot 86mm.
The weather radar gives you a larger picture of what is moving down from South East Queensland giving an idea of what lies ahead in the next three days with a saturated ground.
(Weather radar at 6:25am Friday)
The Wilsons River height at 6:30am this morning was 3.71m and falling at Lismore with the key gauges steady across the Lismore LGA.
The Richmond River at Coraki was 2.42m and steady, also below minor flood level.
Most of the roads that had water over them, like Brewster Street near Lismore Square, were clear yesterday afternoon. However, continue to drive carefully as some roads may continue to have flood water flowing over them.
So far, good news for Friday morning.
