The Lismore App is proud to announce a new button on the main page, What's Open. You will find it directly under the Flood Recovery button in the same bright green colours.

What's Open is kindly supported by Lismore City Council, it lists all of the businesses, that we know of, in the CBD, South Lismore, North Lismore and East Lismore that have reopened since the floods.

To make it easier to support local businesses we have split them into sections such as Retail/Shopping, Services, Pubs/Clubs & Bottleshops and more. Our weekly list was simply getting too long!

We all know that for our city to survive and rebuild it needs our help to spend money in their shops to pay rent, to pay staff and now to pay off new debt.

Jackie's Hair is now open to all our valued clients, friends and family we are looking forward to seeing your lovely smiling faces again We have moved across the road to 91 Molesworth Street, Lismore.

Rebel Curls will be working temporarily from Hair at the Dollhouse, 22 Fischer St, Shop 1, Goonellabah until Sarah's Hair Studio is back to full running steam. Days & times are different so check on Instagram for those, or when you book online. Bear in mind that I may shift your bookings slightly to make sure the new hours run smoothly.

Ziba Hair and Beauty at 91 Magellan Street, Lismore is back! We have scrubbed the salon from top to bottom, rebuilt Michelle’s beauty room, lots of painting, replaced the ceiling and all the lighting and power points and have lugged all our belongings back in!! We are delighted to be back in the CBD doing what we do best! 

Nurtured Beauty Therapy Salon at 2/76 Woodlark Street, Lismore is temporarily running a salon in Alstonville. Elisha wants to let my beauty family & valued clients know that I am planning on returning to the much-loved CBD the heart of Lismore! Be Seen Eyewear located at 84 Molesworth St will open its doors by early May. We are nearly finished our rebuild and will be fully operational for eye tests and all optical needs.

Lismore Funeral Services 124 Woodlark Street, Lismore. We are still operating and are working very hard to get back into our Lismore CBD office. We are working remotely at an alternative location and can still take care of all your funeral needs. Please do not hesitate to contact our team on 0266218266. 

Lismore Paint Centre 43 Zadoc Street, Lismore. We are open take 2! Opening hours: Monday -Friday 6:30am - 5:00pm, Saturday 8:00am - 12:00pm.

Rous Hotel 44 Keen Street, Lismore. We aren’t back to full trade just yet but we have somewhere for everyone to enjoy, relax and swap stories about these last crazy couple of months. We are still under construction and the pub will be undergoing a much-needed refurbishment but in the meantime, we will be open with some areas blocked off. We will be operating with cash only so no EFTPOS or ATM available at the moment.

Biztax Services are back in the office at 105 Molesworth Street, call 66225877 for an appointment 

Farm Moto at 155 Casino Street, South Lismore are back and have been trading in a limited capacity, however, we are now open as per (almost) normal in both our Lismore and Ballina stores. Whilst we are operating now please be aware we are still out of stock on some selected items, including parts and new machines, but have more stock arriving every day. We also have a slight issue with phones as all calls are going direct to the Lismore office. Please ask whoever answers your call to direct you to who you need to speak with.

Lismore Skin Clinic at 186 Molesworth Street is trying to rebuild the site as soon as they can. In the meantime we will be moving to St Vincent’s Hospital Specialist Medical Centre – Level 4, Suite 12 – 20 Dalley Street, East Lismore.

We hope to be up and running in the next two weeks (by early to mid-May 2022) and our receptionists will soon begin calling our patients to rebook their appointments and catch up with their needs.

Despite the rumours, Officeworks will be reopening, and we will be back better than ever! A brand new store is in the works and if everything goes to plan we will see you again in August. In the meantime you can still shop with us online, we are offering free delivery for the 2480 postcode. Just bear in mind that free delivery will exclude the big and bulky, special order and out of stock items.

The Lismore App understands Prime TV is closing their Magellan Street office and moving to Ballina. We have made multiple attempts to get a comment from Gold Coast and Northern Rivers manager Steven Hamilton with no response as this story is published.
