The entrance to Mountain View Drive off Ballina Road in Goonellabah is expected to be closed for the rest of the week.

Council crews are currently working on repairing a section of Mountain View Drive near the intersection with Bruxner Crescent in Goonellabah.

Repair works started last Friday, however, due to unforeseen issues with the stormwater line, council does not expect this work to be completed this week.

LCC will keep the community informed about the progress of works.

To ensure the safety of the community and to allow our Road Crews to undertake the repairs, there is now a full road closure at the entrance of Mountain View Drive from Ballina Road.
