Lismore's Brendan Moore has taken out another World Masters Tennis title to add to his collection.
Moore, who now resides in Terranora, took out the 40+ Men's Doubles title in Turkey last week, pairing up with Matthew Hicks to win the Masters event.
It was Moore's first venture into the 40+ age division, having previously competed in the 35+ division, where he was the Number 1 ranked player.
It was in this division that he took out the World Masters Singles Championship in 2023.
Moore and Hicks were seeded fourth, but did not drop a set in the convincing week of tennis.
Brendan also competed in the singles event, going down in three sets in the Quarter Final 6-4, 0-6, 5-7.
Moore competes on the Masters tour both in Australia and overseas as well as a number of regional tournaments on the Far North Coast and beyond.
He currently runs a tennis coaching business on the border and has produced a number of talented junior players.
