There were a number of interesting milestones in local and district cricket across the weekend.
The LJ Hooker match between the Casino Cavaliers and Murwillumbah featured a father and daughter combination when Kyogle residents Derryn Nix and his daughter Ruby took the field for Murwillumbah as they tried to chase the Cavaliers total of 247.
The generational milestones did not stop their with Goonellabah Workers Sports fielding three generations in Third Grade with Harry Brown taking to the field with his grandfather Warren and mum Mandy.
Marist Brothers Troy Williams had the achievement of the weekend, amassing a phenomenal 166 in the Third Grade total of 6/332.
Young Brothers bowler Zac Conte took an astonishing 7/21 in their win over Goonellabah Workers Sports in 4th Grade.
Following the young bowler theme, Blake Collings took 5/23 in his 8 overs at Pottsville to help Northern Rivers overcome a talented Tweed District Sixers in the U14 InterDistrict competition.
Lismore Workers (Maroon) Second Grade batsman Luke Davis smashed 94, with Justin Pearson hitting 87 off just 56 balls in their total of 7/275 on Saturday.
