The Football Far North Coast Men's Premier League Pointscore Title is up for grabs on Wednesday night when Richmond Rovers take on South Lismore.

The match was postponed from Saturday afternoon due to the wet weather and is the last match scheduled to complete the season before the Finals Series.

The situation has been quite complex, with Lismore Thistles forfeiting their postponed match against Alstonville from the weekend, which gifted the 3 points to Villa and took them to the lead on the ladder by just one point from Rovers.

A draw or a win for Rovers on Wednesday night will see the East Lismore side secure the Pointscore title, which would be their 12th title since they were founded in 1960.

This result would see Rovers and South Lismore clash again in a Semi Final next weekend, which would make it the third consecutive game between the two sides in three weeks.

A loss by Rovers would see Alstonville secure their first Men's Premier League Trophy in their 50 year history in the FFNC Competition.

The match promises to be a classic, with both sides playing a fast and skilful match ten days ago, which resulted in a 3-0 victory to Rovers.

The Celtics will be looking for victory to add to the club's success. On Tuesday night the Men's League 6 defeated Goonellabah FC 3-0 to secure the Pointscore Title in what has been an extremely tough year for the club.

The match will kick off at 7:00pm in East Lismore.
