Lismore Library is proud to celebrate International Women’s Day with a powerful and entertaining keynote event featuring broadcaster, storyteller and women’s wellness advocate Mel Bampton.

Mel's acclaimed one‑woman show, Womb with a View, will be presented at the library this Thursday, 5 March at 5.30pm.

Blending spoken word, humour and evidence‑based insights into women’s health, Womb with a View is billed as a “keynote with clout” — a peri‑powered presentation designed to educate Gen Z, motivate Millennials and celebrate Gen X.

Mel Bampton is widely recognised for her influential media career, including her work with triple j, her long tenure as an ABC talkback presenter, and as the creator of the iconic Like A Version segment.

She is also an author and respected figure in the Australian music industry.

Beyond broadcasting, Mel is a certified therapist and the Founder of The Prana Project, an initiative that integrates environmental care with mental‑health practices.

Her work focuses on women’s hormonal health and reshaping neural patterns that keep people stuck in negative cycles.

This special International Women’s Day event is free to attend, with bookings essential.
