Marist Brothers batsman Pat Martin has plundered the Lennox Head attack on day one of their clash at Megan Crescent.
Brothers started with a flurry, with opener Ashley Simes smashing a quickfire 42 off 29 balls, hitting 4 fours and 3 sixes.
Fellow opener Kevin Warid fell for 16 off 10 balls and Brad Cleaver (10) and Joe Allan (5) also fell cheaply before Martin strode to the crease.
With a batting philosophy of "see ball, hit ball" Martin took to the Lennox Head attack, hitting 2 sixes and 16 fours in his whirlwind 92 off 54 balls.
Daniel Hamshaw joined Martin at the crease adding 42 not out, and lower order batsman Tom Parsons swung the bat like never before, adding 37 off 23, hitting 7 fours in the total of 9 declared for 297 off just 52 overs.
Tyson Priestly and Jordan Salkeld both added 16 each.
In reply, Lennox are 0/54 off 21 overs. The match will conclude next Saturday in Lennox Head.
