Marist Brothers' Juniors have had a stellar year capped off with two of its age sides making the grand finals to be played at Grafton on Saturday.

Rams' Junior Rugby League President Craig Rowe said it "has been a great year for the club".

"The Under 13s made the semi-finals, the Under 14s showed great improvement throughout the season and the Under 15s made the semi finals," he said.

"The Under 16s made the grand final and will meet Ballina Seagulls, who they beat in the semi-finals. They are a great bunch of boys, the majority who have been together since the Under 9s and Under 10s.

""The boys are grounded and a class act. For some of the boys it will be their last game for MBJRL after wearing the yellow and blue proudly for over 10 years. Fingers crossed they can win on Saturday.

"Throughout the season we have been helped by the senior players and this is what makes this club special."

The Under 16s, who have three players out, beat South Grafton 32-0 to reach the grand final. The side has two captains Henry Lee and Jack Elmore.

Marist Brothers JRL Girls Tags side are in their second successive grand final, where they will play Kyogle at Grafton on Saturday. The side is coached by Nickie Williams and captained by Zoe O'Reilly is hoping to make up for last year's loss and win the grand final.

The Girls Tag Grand Final is at Frank McGuren Park, Grafton, at 12.30pm. The Under 16s Grand final is at 2.30pm
