Marist Brothers will need to fight hard next Saturday to secure first innings points against Tintenbar East Ballina at Oakes Oval.
Brothers won the toss and elected to bat, with Cleaver brothers Brad and Matt opening the innings.
Brad went early on 7, with Kevin Warid coming in at number three and adding 26. Pat Martin added a solid 36 before both he and Matt Cleaver (33) were dismissed.
The Marist Brothers lower order failed to fire, bowled out for a total 139.

In reply Tintenbar are 3/97 off 26 overs with Brendan Mitchell taking all 3 wickets for the hosts.
Brothers will need quick wickets next Saturday to put pressure on their opposition early in the day.
