The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called into service last night at 11:30 when they were informed that a 47 year old male pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle on Kyogle Road at Tuncester.

The man was treated for multiple traumatic injuries by local Ambulance Paramedics before being stabilised by the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team and flown direct to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
