A man has died following last night's motorcycle crash in East Lismore.

About 7.40pm today (Sunday, 14 September 2025), emergency services were called to Ballina Road, East Lismore, following reports a motorcycle had left the road and crashed into a tree.

Officers attached to Richmond Police District commenced CPR on the rider before he was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene.

He is yet to be formally identified.

Police established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.

Road closures remain in place and the public should expect delays and allow extra travel time.
