A man has died after being hit by a car in Wollongbar.

Shortly after 1pm today (Wednesday March 10), emergency services were called to a home on Callicoma Court, Wollongbar, after reports a man was trapped underneath a vehicle in a driveway.

The man – believed to be aged in his 60s – died at the scene.

Officers from Richmond Police District attended and have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
