Lismore City Council are in the process of closing the Lower Hensley and Rowing Club car park as a precaution due to the potential of minor flooding in Lismore (Minor flooding likely late Friday).

There are a number of cars currently in these car parks so the owners will be locked-in until the gates are reopened on Monday.

The owners of these vehicles are asked to remove them as soon as possible. If you know of someone who has parked or does park their car in Lower Hensley and Rowing Club car park please get in contact with them to ensure they get their car moved by 12:30pm.

In other council news, the Nimbin Transfer station will be closed tomorrow, Saturday, 24 September due to the current weather conditions.
