The Lismore Colts and Women's Rugby teams will contest Semi Finals this weekend on the quest for a major premiership.

The Colts finished third on the FNC Rugby Union ladder and will take on Yamba in the Minor Semi Final at Quays Reserve on Saturday.

Win and they move through to the Preliminary Final next weekend, lose and their season is over.

The side has had plenty of experience this year, playing not only their Colts matches, but backing up most weekends to help the senior grades.

The match will kick off at 11:30am.

The Women's side also finished third, just one point out of second place and a second chance.

They will clash with the Byron Shire Rebels, also in a sudden death Minor Semi Final.

The winner will play the loser of the Major Semi Final between Casino and Casuarina next Saturday.

The Women's match will also be played in Ballina and will kick off at 2:20pm.
