Lismore women’s golf will be heralding the arrival of spring by hosting their annual 2-day Spring Tournament tomorrow and Tuesday (26^th and 27^th August) at the Lismore Golf Club.

This event is very proudly sponsored by the Lismore Workers Club, which is on schedule to re-open its doors post the 2022 floods, on September 23.

The Spring Tournament has attracted more than 160 local and visiting players, with players travelling from Wynnum to the north, Glen Innes and Tenterfield to the west and Sawtell and South West Rocks to the south.

Dianne Cahill, Captain of Lismore Women's Golf said, "Our course is in wonderful condition. The greens are slick thanks to the efforts of Course Manager Sam Stefanaras and his hardworking staff. 

"Players will be competing for a generous prize rundown on both days, but it will not all be about the golf! Our local players will be wining and dining our visitors in the local restaurants at night, making this event as much about fun, friendship and hospitality as it is about playing and enjoying good golf!"
