The Lismore Women's 10's Rugby Union team will create history on Saturday.
The team will be the first women's team from the club to make a Grand Final and will take to the field with the belief that they can do one better and bring home the trophy.
The side has had a number of changes throughout the season, mainly through injury, but the team has been able to keep a similar look over the finals series.
A 17-0 Major Semi Final loss to Casuarina will be motivation for the Lismore side, who will be out to exact revenge and bring a premiership back to Lismore after a very tough year.
The club trained for a number of weeks in a carpark in the CBD after the February/March floods destroyed the clubs grounds and clubhouse.
Coach John Lisetto will look to Jada Williams, Sabrina Lisetto and Lily Patston to add the spark and experience to the side on Saturday.
In the First Grade Grand Final, Bangalow will take on Wollongbar/Alstonville in a rematch of the Major Semi Final that saw Bangalow scrape through with a 30-29 victory.
The match will be a close encounter again after Wollongbar accounted for Lennox Head last week 30-14.
