It is not often that we think of Lismore as the lucky city because of the rain and flooding, but we have had our fair share of lotto or lottery winners lately. Another Lismore man has swapped thinking about the working week for future holidays after nabbing $100,000 in yesterday’s Lucky Lotteries draw.

The local man held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10967 on Monday, 28 April 2025.

“That is good news!” the man exclaimed when his win was confirmed by an official from The Lott.

“That’s amazing!

“With the Jackpot Prize climbing, I’ve been grabbing the occasional ticket. Maybe I’ll win that tomorrow.

“This is just perfect. It’s a total shock. I wasn’t expecting it at all.

“This answers some questions and gets the ball rolling on a few things we’ve wanted to do, like a holiday.

“That’s unreal!”

The man’s winning entry of one random number was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $5.56 million for draw 1701, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $16.75 million for draw 10969.
