Lismore to host Sponsors Day against Seahorses

The Lismore Rugby Club will host their Sponsors Day when they clash with the Ballina Seahorses at Lismore Rugby Park on Saturday.

It has been a tough year for the Greens in First Grade but they face a Ballina outfit that are struggling for player numbers at the back end of the season and have been on the tough end of several big shorelines in recent weeks.

The Lismore side will look to take advantage of a big crowd on Sponsors Day and look to finish the season on a high.

The U/18 Colts are away to Evans River, with their match starting at 12:20pm and several players will jump in the car after the match and race back to support the Reserve Grade and First Grade sides.

Reserve Grade kicks off in Lismore at 1:00pm and will be followed by the Women's 12's match against the Seahorses at 2:20pm.

the Women are looking to enter the Semi Finals in winning form and are hitting their straps as the season enters its final stages.

The First Grade match will start at 3:15pm.

The SCU Gold Rats will be out to push their Semi Final credentials against a strong Range outfit in the FNCXRU Presidents Cup match at Maurie Ryan Oval at SCU on Saturday.

The Gold Rats need to win their remaining matches to slide into Semi Final contention and the mix of youth and experience in the side definitely has the talent to push the ladder leaders.

The match starts at 3:00pm.
