Lismore Theatre Company calls out for two Directors

After another hugely successful sold out performance of Running Up a Dress, the Lismore Theatre Company is calling for two Directors for its next production at Rochdale Theatre.

There are to be two short plays, both of which are comedic. Production dates are expected to be the weekend of June 24th and the weekend of July 1st, 2022, with a 4-6 week rehearsal period. Lighting, costume, sound and the set are simple for both plays, the emphasis being on dialogue.

1) LOCKDOWN IN LITTLE GRIMLEY... a play about an amateur theatre’s struggles with putting on a show after Covid lockdown (very pertinent)

The play runs for around forty minutes and has a cast of two men and two females in the age range 35-65yrs.

2) ALAN GRIMALDI AND THE 183.... a short play about a man who does not know he has unexpectedly died until he ends up in a strange office. This play runs for around 24 minutes and has a cast of two adult males and one adult female.

If you wish to Direct one of these plays and can seriously commit to the time frame then please contact Artistic Directors, Bette Guy at betimagine@gmail.com OR Jennie Hicks at hicksanddickson@gmail.com to discuss further.

Auditions for the cast and crew will be called as soon as the Directors are approved. If you are keen to be part of the cast or crew, please check on the Lismore Theatre Company website for updates.
