The Lismore Rugby Union Club have a big day planned on Saturday at Lismore Rugby Park.

The club is bringing back an old tradition by playing for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Cup against rivals Wollongbar/Alstonville.

The day will see all four grades compete on a point score system to see who takes home to Cup.

The main reason behind the day is to fundraise for the vital service to our community.

The day will be full of raffles and prizes provided by the great people of Westpac!

Games kick off at 12:00pm with U/18's followed by Reserve Grade at 1:15pm.

The Women's 10's will start at 2:30pm and First Grade will kick off at 3:!0pm

The club will be asking for a Gold coin donation at the gate upon entry.

The Women's side will be looking to notch another win and are currently sitting in fourth spot on the ladder.

The First Grade side will be looking to put pressure on the Pioneers early, with both sides looking to sure up their defence after Lismore leaked 51 points last week and the Pioneers 33.
